The Olympics have laid a solid foundation for the emergence of the sports facility industry in China. Advanced concepts on building, management,
maintenance and operation of sports facilities have been brought to China, bringing on new starting points for the industry.

As an important industrial gathering after the Beijing Olympics, the International Sports Facilities Expo China (ISFE), the new China Sports Facilities Management Conference and its concurrent events offer an excellent opportunity for promoting the sustained development of China’s sports facility industry.

The last edition of International Sports Facilities Expo China (ISFE) was held from 5-7 December 2007 in Beijing. Supported by FSB Cologne, the three day trade fair and forum attracted 85 exhibitors from 10 countries and 3,272 high quality delegates and visitors from 15 countries, representing an increase of 10% compared to 2006 in terms of the participation rate.
